SITRANS FP230/FPS200 primary elements and transmitters offer standardised mechanical flow sensors, also known as differential pressure transducers. Manufactured in accordance with EN ISO 5167 standards, these devices ensure accurate and reliable flow measurement.

By constricting the line diameter within the pressure device, the flow rate generates a differential pressure, which is then converted into a proportional current signal or flow value by the differential pressure transmitter. The correlation between differential pressure and flow is established through a calculation performed by the primary differential pressure device.


Ideal for single-phase media such as gas, steam, and solids-free liquids, SITRANS FP230/FPS200 finds applications in various industries including technical gases, compressed air, fresh and combustion air, steam/heat quantities, heat transfer fluids, and water.
